Under Eye Bags— Mild swelling or puffiness under the eyes are common with many adults. With ageing, the tissue around the eye area, including some of the muscles supporting the eyelids, weaken. Normal fat that helps support the eyes can then move into the lower eyelids, causing the lids to appear puffy. Fluid also may accumulate in the space below the eyes, adding to the swelling. Other factors that may contribute towards under eye bags include lack of sleep, dehydration, smoking and family history. This is usually a cosmetic concern and rarely a sign of a serious underlying medical condition. A lack of fat under the eyes can be treated with tear trough filler, puffiness & excess skin can be treated with Platelet Rich Plasma(PRP) & correct eye care.
